Obituary

HARVEY J. DEEGAN

Harvey J. Deegan, 86, passed away peacefully Thursday June 21, 2012 in Manor Care of Willoughby.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 19, 1925 the son of Charles and Olive (Peck) Deegan.

He worked for RTA until his retirement in 1982.

He was a US Army Veteran that served during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Post 678 in Willowick and the Eastside Irish-American Club.

He is survived by his loving family; his daughter Donna Johnson; his grandchildren: Val (Chris) Wilcox, Pam (William) Gammon, Emily (Travis) Frye, Scott Beltzer and Brian Beltzer; his great-grandchildren: Emma, Lucas, Andrea, Logan; and his son-in law, David Gaino.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Charlotte (Paonsha); his daughter Christine Gaino; his great-grandson Aiden Beltzer and his brother Charles Deegan.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio (meet in the front of the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.).

At his request no visitation will be held. The MONREAL FUNERAL HOME, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Lake Co. Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd, Mentor, Ohio 44060
