Betty J. Kuhn
April 3, 1921 - June 8, 2022
Betty Jane Kuhn (née Tennyson), 101, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She had been a resident of Grande Village Villas in Twinsburg for the past nine years. Betty enjoyed crocheting (afghans, sweaters, and tote bags), sewing, taking photographs, watching Cleveland Indians baseball games on the television, and 'surfing her iPad' playing games and keeping in touch with family members through emails and pictures. She worked for many years at Hickok Electric Co. as an assembly supervisor for calibration equipment. She loved her family deeply and assisted with their care or visited with them as much as possible. Betty took great pride in managing her affairs and health needs with as little assistance as possible. She remained fiercely independent until the end. She was sharp as a tack and had a very warm heart and beautiful smile. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly, along with valued caregivers who became friends while she was living at the Villas. Betty was predeceased by her cherished husband of 61 years, James "Jas" Kuhn; her parents, Joseph Tennyson and Ida Tennyson (née Boa); siblings Gladys Hall, Harold "Buddy" Tennyson, Mayme "Sis" Demshar, Joe "Buster" Tennyson, Gloria "Babe" Trunk, Jack Tennyson, and Floyd Tennyson; and her cherished niece Joyce While (née Hall). Please meet for graveside services and burial at Knollwood Cemetery, 1678 Som Center Rd in Mayfield Heights on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11am.
