George Puskas

George Puskas, age 77, of Concord Twp., passed away December 7, 2020. He was born in Perry, OH, on March 24, 1943, to the late George and Hazel Puskas. He was a proud and loving husband, father, and grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. George dedicated 50 years in the automotive industry as a mechanic. He raced a Painesville Speedway for many years, he was proudly inducted into the Hall of Fame at the racetrack in 2019. He enjoyed watching racing especially, Nascar and going to Raceway 7. George also loved the outdoors and in his free time would take many nature walks. George is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Charlene Puskas, son Gary Puskas, granddaughters Tiffanie and Stephanie Puskas, sister Betty (Tony) Gullo, brother-in-law Terry York and long-time cherished friends Doug Jacklin, George (Helen) Primbas, Tom (Kip) Bushman, Robert (Heather) Burry Shellie Brammer and Greg Stankiewcz. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Puskas. Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 4 to 8pm at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 4 to 8pm at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
