LaVerna “Dolly” J. Reid, age 94, of Cleveland Ohio, peacefully passed away in Mentor, Ohio on November 30, 2020. She was born in Chickasaw, Pa. on July 7, 1926 to the late Benjamin and Edna Jones.Dolly was a pioneer of her family, the first of 13 children to move to the big city of Cleveland, where she and her husband, Jim, assisted her siblings in their journey to this area. Opening her home as she opened her heart to all of her family and friends. She kept a lovely home, where she raised her family of four children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who will be greatly missed. Dolly is survived by her children, Edie (Chris) Antenori-Deakin, Jim (Margo) Reid, Lu (Larry) Morris, and Lori (Johnny) Bireley, her grandchildren, Tracy (Chris) Hodson, Tina (Rob) Gobel, Jimmie Reid, Genevieve (Chuck) Pettyjohn, Brandon (Erica) Gepper, David (Sarah) Gepper, Ryan (Tabiatha) Gepper, Aaron Gepper, Heather (Joe Golon) Gepper, Ricky (Miranda) Scibbe, and Kevin (Lauren) Scibbe, her great grandchildren, Marley, Morgan, Tyler, Riley, Alex, Jordan, Sabrina, Ben, Allie, James, Abbi, Ryleigh, Makennah, Holton, Raelin, Aurora, and Amorette, her great great Grandchildren, Parker and Levi, her siblings, Glen, Barb, Terry, Larry, Cindy, Vernon and Bill and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Reid, her daughter-in-law, Lynn Reid and her siblings, Wendell, Ben, Gib, Bob and Roy.Visitation will be on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 11 am – 1 pm with procession to Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
