Louise Ann Bierer

August 3, 1935 - May 26, 2022

Louise Ann Bierer, age 86, a longtime resident of Euclid, peacefully entered into eternal rest at home on May 26, 2022. Louise was born in Dubois, Pa. on August 3, 1935, to the late Kenneth and Naomi Hartzfeld. For 56 years, Louise was the beloved wife of the late Charles Frederick Bierer Jr., she was the loving mother of Charles Neil Bierer (Beth), Ruth Ann Tanner (Ralph), and Sarah Louise Bender (John). She was the proud grandmother of Noah Tanner, and Matthew, Eli, and Rachel Bender. She was the caring aunt of Karen Fox, Kathy Cupp, and Shane McGaughey. She was the great aunt of Rachel Fox. Louise was also a caring friend to many. Louise graduated from Uniontown High School. She then attended Presbyterian School of Nursing in Pa. and graduated with her bachelor's degree. She worked as a nurse for many years and was a medical/surgical nursing instructor for Lakeland Community College School of Nursing. Throughout her life, Louise was very active in her community. While her kids were in school, she was active with Indian Guides and Y's Lil Owls, a member of PTA, volunteered as a band parent, and served on the advisory boards of Euclid Rainbow Girls and Demolay. Louise was one of the founding members of the FRED's Club tutoring program and helped as a tutor for children needing help with academics. She was a longtime active member at Master's United Methodist Church, and East Shore United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Western Reserve Chapter #71. Aside from her activities, Louise had a wonderful love of music. She sang many solos, directed the children's choir, and loved to sing in the church choir. Whenever she could, Louise shared her love of music with family and friends. If asked, everyone knew the light of Louise's life were her grandchildren. She spent many hours sharing her love with them. Louise was a loving and caring friend to many, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. On July 9, 2022, at 2 p.m., Louise's family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at East Shore United Methodist Church, 23002 Lakeshore Blvd. in Euclid. The service will be officiated by Reverend Armando C. Arellano. Interment will be at a later date.
