Allen E Nagy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allen E. Nagy, who left us far too soon on April 7, 2025. Born on May 6, 1973, in Cleveland, Ohio, Allen was a devoted husband, a dedicated police officer, and a cherished member of his community. Al made his home in Eastlake, where he lived with his beloved wife, Robyn Nagy. Loving father of Jeremy (Gabrielle) and Jayson, grandfather of his baby girl, Elyse, brother of Terri Trimboli, uncle of Eric Vanek and he leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Nagy and Patricia Kontur. Al was a police officer for over 20 years, servicing the communities of Painesville, Cleveland and Village of Bratenahl. He was a dedicated member of the Accident Investigation Unit and the Mountain Bike Unit. Al was an avid fisherman, boater, golfer, hockey fan, especially for the Detroit Red Wings, a passionate video gamer and a frequent flyer of Facebook jail. We will all miss his sarcasm, dark humor, and off the wall stories. He took great pride in his work and served his community with unwavering commitment and courage. Al was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. To honor Al's life and the lasting impact he had on those around him, we will gather to celebrate his memory. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, 3-7 pm at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share stories that capture Al's spirit. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby, where we will come together to celebrate Al's life and the love he brought to us all. Following the service, Al will be laid to rest at Perry Cemetery. Though he is no longer with us, Al's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by Robyn, his family, and the community that loved him. Rest in peace, Al. Thank you for your service and for all the joy you brought into our lives.
