Our story

"Strength in Your Time of Need" - The Monreal Srnick Family, Serving Since 1892

For over a century, the Monreal family has stood as a beacon of strength during life's most difficult moments. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated establishment, helmed by Jane Srnick Monreal and William A. Monreal Jr. Alex Srnick, Kristina Srnick and Philip Monreal are representing the future generation of Monreal Srnick Funeral Directors, we carry forward a legacy of compassionate service.

Our dedicated staff understands the profound importance of a respectful and dignified farewell. We strive to create a warm and comforting environment where families can grieve freely. Your loved one's final wishes are our utmost priority, and we ensure they are carried out with the care and integrity.

In keeping with the spirit of the times, we offer a variety of personalized memorial options. This includes beautifully crafted memorial cards, carefully chosen music selections, and tasteful floral arrangements. We partner with esteemed local vendors to provide a wide selection of caskets, vaults, and headstones, all within the comforting confines of our establishment.

By attending to every detail, we allow families more time to focus on their loved ones during this difficult period. We take great pride in serving our community and consider it an honor to have been entrusted with such a sacred responsibility for over a century. As we move forward, we remain committed to being a pillar of strength and support for generations to come.

1892

Monreal Funeral Home has been a comforting presence in Northeast Ohio since way back in 1892! It all began with Joseph Monreal, who originally offered furniture and funeral services under one roof. Seeing a growing need in the community, he decided to fully dedicate himself to serving grieving families during difficult times.

1917

By 1917, Monreal Funeral Home transitioned to a beautiful, dedicated space on 110th and St. Clair. This move showcased our commitment to creating a comforting environment for grieving families.

1936

Our journey continued to flourish! In 1936, we expanded to serve more families by opening another location on 151st and Euclid, followed by Willowick in 1957. It was during this Willowick chapter that the reins were passed to the third generation, William A. Monreal Sr.

1972

In 1972, we found our forever home in Eastlake. This move allowed us to better serve the evolving needs of the community while carrying forward the comforting spirit established in our previous locations.

Present

Through it all, one thing has remained constant: our dedication to compassionate care for families in their time of need.
