Jaymi Blossom Feeney

Jaymi Blossom Feeney, 32, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away in her home on Monday, October 3, 2022. Jaymi was born in NYC on November 9, 1989, the same eventful day the Berlin Wall in Germany was torn down. She resided in Rhode Island growing up in Bristol and Pawtucket. She attended Montessori, Gordon School, Moses Brown School, and Rocky Hill Country Day School graduating high school in 2009. As a competitive member of the Moses Brown and Rocky Hill Field Hockey Teams, she and her teammates celebrated mightily when Moses Brown won the RI State Championship. Her love of animals was a constant, with a dog and a cat usually by her side. Jaymi had a witty sense of humor, and she was a natural entertainer, with a flair for mimicry and a conductor of many puppet shows in her youth. Her youth was filled with many summer days at her grandparents', Jim and Sandy's home in Westport, MA. Both her mother, Robin, and grandmother, Sandy, were professional photographers, influencing Jaymi's passion in the arts. She is immortalized in thousands of photographs of which the family cherishes. Being naturally artistic herself, Jaymi leaves behind a legacy of artistic creations, including being named Artist of the Month award by RI Channel 12 when she was 10, a rising 5th grader. Jaymi's sensitivity towards others would dictate many of her career choices following her college years at Ithaca College '14 in New York. Her kind and sensitive heart was drawn to the service of others-from being on staff for children with autism, to working with women in recovery, to monitoring a homeless shelter during nights. This path led to her most recent role, working as a nurse's aide at Cleveland Clinic Hospital with a strong interest in becoming a compassionate caregiver in nursing like her mother. As the first person from the 5th generation, she became an active trustee of the family's William Bingham Foundation, in Cleveland, Ohio in 2018. Jaymi supported non-profit organizations focusing on causes that she deeply believed in ranging from recovery to trauma to free health clinics and more. Jaymi loved her family and called her parents daily. She is preceded by her grandfather's James K. Feeney Sr. and Charles Bing Blossom (10/7/22), she is survived by her mother Robin Dunn Blossom; her father James Keene Feeney Jr.; sister Minerva Cruz; grandparents Sandra B. Feeney, Barbara and Sanford Gorodetsky, and Deborah M. Blossom and as well as her loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and nieces. Jaymi will be missed and loved for all eternity by all that knew her. Visitation hours from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday October 13th will be held at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH. Funeral services will be at Monreal Funeral Home, at 10:00 am on Friday, October 14, with her burial to follow at Lake View Cemetery, 12316 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH.
