Bonnie L. Egan

January 27, 1955 - December 4, 2021

Bonnie L. Egan, passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 66 after a courageous multi-year battle with demon cancer. She passed in the comfort of her own home surrounded by the love of her husband of 45 years, Terry Egan. In addition to her husband, Bonnie is survived by her son, Patrick (Lauren), grandson, Owen, brother, Richard Fox (Barbara), and many loved ones including in-laws, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Bonnie was loved for her cheerful demeanor that routinely brought joy to the lives of others. She was an example of true love through her care for others and through her volunteer endeavors at Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland Metroparks, and Destination Cleveland. Bonnie loved to travel, hike, ride her bike, and walk along the lakeshore. She often said, "there is no place like home," and she is now resting peacefully at home in Heaven. Services will be held Saturday December 11th at St. Jerome Catholic Church (15000 Lakeshore Blvd. in Cleveland) with visitation beginning at 10:00am and memorial mass beginning at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
