Richard "Rick" V. Toaddy

Richard "Rick" V. Toaddy, age 65, of Phoenix, AZ for 26 years, formerly of Eastlake, passed away November 21, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, on May 11, 1956, to the late Harry and Betty Toaddy (nee Stiadle). He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, cousin, and dear friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Richard graduated from Euclid HS and went on to receive an Associate degree from Lakeland Community College. Before moving to Arizona, he dedicated many years to Argo Tech. More recently he has dedicated 15 years as Inspector at Precise Metal Products in Phoenix. Over the years he remained a loyal fan to the Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Buckeyes. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and in his earlier years he supported his sons by coaching them in Baseball and Basketball. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia Toaddy (nee Soeder). He also leaves behind three sons Jason Toaddy of Phoenix, AZ, Daniel Toaddy of Goodyear, AZ, and Ryan (Ashley) Toaddy of Buckeye, AZ; his brother Mitch (Candy) Toaddy of Willowick, OH and his sister-in-law Susan (Wayne) Hicks of Surprise, AZ. Friends and family to gather to celebrate and honor the life of Richard on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10am till 12pm at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. A Funeral service will be held at noon also at the funeral home. Richard will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon following the service.
