Patricia C Vouk

Patricia Vouk, formerly of Barjode Road in Willowick and later of Willoughby passed away peacefully Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Vista Springs Quail Highlands in Concord. Patricia was born on January 24,1936, the daughter of Laddislaus (Laddie) and Catherine (Caroline) (Burnoskey) Khas. Patricia, well- known as Pat, leaves to forever cherish her memory her three sons, Keith (Louise) of Kirtland, Kevin (Nancy) of Concord, and Kurt (Elizabeth) of Yardley, Pa; her grandchildren, Gabrielle (Patrick Drabik), Hannah, Kevin (Alli), Victoria, Benjamin, and great-granddaughter Lainey. She will also be missed by her brother King David Khas (Joe), many nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Betty Khas. In 1956, Pat married Kenneth Vouk. Together they bought a new home on Barjode Rd. to raise their family. The Barjode neighborhood was a close-knit "family" and Pat is the last of that group to pass on. Pat was a person who had many interests. She was an accomplished quilter, knitter, and cross-stitcher, always giving her creations to friends and family. Patricia was never afraid to get involved: In addition to being a homemaker, raising three active boys, and being the coolest mother-in-law, she was a La Leche League leader, Cub Scout den mother, Sunday school teacher, a Red Hat Society member, and a 25+ years volunteer at what was called Lake West Hospital in Willoughby. Additionally, she was the owner/operator of the former Hair Fashion Studio in Willowick for many years. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth; brother Charles Khas; and daughter-in-law Tami Vouk. Family and friends may gather to pay respects from 3 - 7 p.m. on Friday, January 3 , 2025 at Monreal Srnick Funeral and Cremations, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 32114 Vine St, Willowick, OH 44095, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 4th, 2025. Internment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Pat's name to either Hospice of the Western Reserve Palliative Care, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105.
