Wilma M. Suhar

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Wilma M. Suhar (nee Kolar), age 102 of Euclid, OH, who departed this life peacefully on April 3, 2025, at the remarkable age of 102. Born on August 19, 1922, in Dunlo, PA, Wilma brought joy, love, and laughter to everyone who had the privilege to know her. Wilma was the beloved daughter of the late Evan and Mary Kolar (nee Podrebarac) and has rejoined her cherished husband of 64 years, Frank E. Suhar, along with her son Ron, daughter Judy Cirino, and son-in-law Tony Cirino, her granddaughter Antoinette Turchek and grandson Frank Suhar. As well as her siblings Cecilia, Mary, Dorothy, Barbara, Evan, George, and Steve. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Angela Suhar and loving daughter-in-law Kathy. Her legacy continues with her adoring grandchildren, Cherie Robatin, Antoinette Turchek-deceased (Jim), Joe Cirino (Jami), Tara Ennis (Kevin), Amber Cirino, Frank Suhar-deceased (Kerry), Ron Suhar (Sarah), Chris Suhar (Nichole), Melissa Bogosian (Zane), along with many great-grandchildren: Michael, Kevin, Ryan, Erika, Dylan, Chris, Skylar, Kaelan, Kamryn, Mason, Eliana, Scarlett, Cecilia, Cade, Rosalie, and the newest addition to the family, Baby Bogosian, expected in May. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Wilma was an exceptional homemaker who delighted in the joys of music, dancing, cooking, gambling, and attending to her beautiful rose garden. Guided by her devout Catholic beliefs, she generously volunteered her time to the church. Her love for polka bands and her famous apple strudel brought happiness not only to her family but to everyone fortunate enough to share in her culinary creations. In her retirement, she embraced life fully, forming lasting friendships at Park Creek and Parma Senior Village through her passion for games such as Bingo, Uno, Pinochle and her love of singing with friends in the choir. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2025, at St. Justin Martyr Church, located at 35781 Stevens Blvd, Eastlake, at 11 AM. Following the service, Wilma's final resting place will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, where family and friends can come to honor her legacy. Family will receive friends at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, located at 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2 PM until 6 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Wilma to join us in celebrating her vibrant life and the countless memories she created with us all. Wilma will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit. May she rest in peace.
