Danica Jandric

It is with deepest sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Danica Jandric, age 58, of Mentor. Danica passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on August 18, 2026. She was born on June 12, 1968, to the late Dominka and Stipo Suman. Danica is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Jasminko; her cherished children, Jelena (Perica) Zeba, Leopold Jandric (Megan Blaney), and Bojan Jandric; her treasured grandchildren, Gabriela, Josip, and Mario; her brother, Vlado (Vesna) Suman; nieces, Iva, Marina, Nikolina, nephews Marko and Edward; father-in-law, Nikola Jandric; brother-in-law, Stjepan (Biljana) Jandric; and sister-in-law, Smiljana (Kresimir) Cuturic. She also leaves behind a host of kumovi and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mara Jandric, as well as extended family members Jele Jandric, Toncika Dedic, Dragica Zrnic, and Celija and Dragan Vidovic. May all our departed loved ones greet her as she beholds the Beatific Vision, and may her six grandchildren-Stella Martin, Petar, Selah, Deo Gratias, and Amadeus-call out to "Bako Dano" as she enters heaven. Danica loved her family above all else. She had a vibrant spirit, brought joy to every gathering as "DJ Dana," loved cooking delicious meals for those she cared for, and was a true fashionista who always took pride in looking and feeling her best. She dedicated many proud years to QP Manufacturing LLC in Chardon, where she truly loved her work and deeply appreciated the unwavering support, kindness, and care they showed her throughout her illness. Her daughter shares these words on behalf of herself and her brothers: "To suffer well, to forgive quickly, and to love deeply-that is what you taught us. To always be ready to help a friend, especially your brother. To greet those you know, even if you know they have spoken ill of you and hurt you, to love them anyway. Most importantly, your love for God and your Catholic faith have been the most profound testimony. Your prayers and fasting brought your children to Jesus and bore so much fruit, not just in our generation, but for generations to come. Even in your final days, God, your prayer book, and your rosary were constantly on your mind and in your heart. The love you had for everyone was a true gift from God, and I pray I can carry on your legacy to my children and my children's children. Having carried hardships and physical pain with grace, witnessing your peaceful and holy passing has deeply increased our faith, hope, and love for our neighbor and for Our Lord." May she join the choir of Angels and Saints: Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus, Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua. Hosanna in excelsis. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen." Visitation on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake, OH. Funeral Mass on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40th St., Cleveland, OH 44103. Please meet at church. Danica will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.
