Roseanne "Rosie" Willis

Roseanne "Rosie" Willis (nee Germann) (Ruple), passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 7, 1953 in Bedford, OH to the late George and Mary Germann. Throughout her life, Roseanne was an amateur nature photographer, who loved taking pictures of "her lake" and many sunrises at Mentor Marsh over the years. She was also a baker for over 30 years, and had the privilege of working with several local businesses, including Reider's Stop-N-Shop, which eventually became Giant Eagle. In her early thirties, Roseanne formed a love for fitness, and amateur bodybuilding. She worked with a personal trainer for several years which proudly kept her healthy and active later in life. In addition, Roseanne devoted many years to volunteering with the Red Cross and at the St. Bede Church food pantry, where she found great fulfillment in serving others. A woman of boundless courage and heart, Roseanne embraced life's challenges with strength and grace. She was adored for her big personality, her honesty in every situation, and her unwavering love. In remembrance of Roseanne's generous spirit and her love of the outdoors, the family encourages all who knew her to find moments of joy in nature, and be a source of inspiration and happiness for others as she did. Roseanne will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those she touched. Roseanne was the beloved wife of the late James "Mark" Willis , and the late David O. Ruple; loving mother of Melanie DeMeo (Romeo), and Jennifer Ruple-Fahmy, caring step-mother of Michael Willis, and the late Matthew Willis; proud grandmother of Alex Ruple (Elsey), Elizabeth Ruple (Nehemias), Sophia Fahmy, Taylor Willis, Lily Willis, and Rose Willis; a cherished sister of Mary Skufca, John Germann, Michael Germann (Penny), Tina Germann, and the late George Germann, Kenneth Germann, Linda Germann, and Theresa Germann; a sister-in-law of Wendy Paglio (Michael); and an aunt, cousin, and friend to many more. She also leaves behind her cat Gary (who is a girl). Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, Ohio 44095. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church 9114 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
